Just reading the current <Article>
about the gap difference between the US Dollar and the Euro makes me
think the influx of foreigners coming to the River Plate will increase
abruptly.
Despite the fact that for locals Uruguayan economic situation is hard, this
phenomenom of a low value of US Dollar and the appreciation of Euro and
Canadian Dollar will give us the opportunity to be targeted by more
"gringos" visiting or those checking the area for a possible move to
the River Plate.
I believe Uruguay has a great opportunity trying to show itself
both as a charming tourist destination as well as reasonable place to live.
Those Americans expats aimed at a "secure" and "safety" destination to
move out might be, under the currency situation, seeing Uruguay as a
place for a future home. We all know of the benefit immigrants enjoy
when it comes to bringing their belongings to Uruguay, especially for
those returning Uruguayans.
Summer is coming soon. Days are nicer in the souther hemisphere. I
think you should seriously consider visiting, checking or making your
mind about moving to Uruguay. It is perfect Timing!
